
"Black Men Owning Permission To Feel and Heal"
The Stage Play follows six Black men (godbrothers) who haved formed a family-like bond over the years. Led by "Pops" their mentor from a community center where they grew up, they gather regularly to bond over good food and good conversation. In the blink of an eye... a slip of the tongue... the lingering, unresolved pains of their childhood resurfaces, revealing the strength and vulnerability of their brotherhood. This invites audiences to in production engage conversations about identity, resilience, and the impact of community. The play serves as a catalyst for understanding the challenges faced by black men, while celebrating their successes and bondsof brotherhood that help them navigate life's difficulties. godguys.
